I’ve been reflecting on the theological premise behind The Passion of the Christ: Resurrection, and there is a critical distinction we need to keep in mind. A common misconception is that Satan fell because he rejected God’s plan to incarnate as a man. But scripture is clear: Satan’s fall was pure pride. Created as Luzbel—glorious and deeply loved—he wasn't triggered by humanity. He simply wanted to be God, and in his arrogance, he chose to abandon his Creator. Then God created us. The Bible notes that humanity was made "a little lower than the angels." We were created fragile, flawed, and imperfect from the very beginning. Yet when we fell, God didn't discard us. He activated a redemption plan: He sent His own Son to die for a broken, undeserving humanity. In many ways, the Cross was God's ultimate declaration to Satan and the fallen realm: "Look at what I am willing to do for these imperfect, fragile creatures. This is the depth of My love—the very love you walked away from." Satan fell because he wanted power. God answered with ultimate humility and sacrifice. That is the true heart of the Gospel. That is why Satan hates the humanity. Best regards, Angel Gabriel
